Resources about staying connected

  • Oregon's Centers for Independent Living provide peer support, information and referral, skills training and advocacy to people with a disability.
  • Oregon Volunteers promotes volunteerism and civic engagement in communities across the state. It includes a section on senior volunteer programs including RSVP, Senior Companions, and Foster Grandparents.
  • Civic Ventures is a national nonprofit organization. It focuses on helping boomers plan for their next life stage.
